Ms. DeSelm has a teaching certificate from California State University, Long Beach.  She is certified in Crosscultural, Language, and Academic Development in education. In addition, she minored in Life, Physical Fitness and Life Management.  She has 14 years of teaching experience and has taught first grade for 13 of those years.
